We all have ‘that spot,’ a location that takes you away … the beach, a cottage, a reading nook, the bathtub tub …
But what are you able to do once you can’t physically escape?
And, yet, as you are feeling the mounting pressures of the day to compile, what are you able to do?
Try art.
Art allows you to stray in places you’ll sometimes only dream about.

The color red jogs my memory of the warmth of summer. You’ll almost feel the frozen dessert cone dripping on your hand. Do not be afraid to lick it because it’s delicious!

#1 — Art is fun!
So why did I pick “Spinning in Circles” to represent fun?
Especially since many of you recognize my painting beacon is that of the birch.
Yet, I picked “Spinning in Circles” because I had to push myself to specialize in color only.
As I painted, the energy from the movement made me desire I used to be a child again, back on a merry-go-round. I pictured the carousel circling round and round, feeling the breeze on my face, hearing the pings from the organ because the carnival-colored pony I sat on moved up and down.
